Production FAQ
What does the lighting drone do and how much is a shift?
It is a DJI Inspire 2 with an attached 200 W LED light, used to shape shadows and light moving cars or actors. A 10-hour shift is $400. Terms are the same as Inspire 2: call-outs up to 3 hours are $200, overtime is +10% per hour, standby or full-day relocation is 50% of the shift, and 3 or more consecutive shifts get a discount by agreement. Payment by bank transfer or cash.
Do you work with international productions?
Yes. We communicate in English and work anywhere in Kazakhstan. Prices on the English site are in US dollars.
Who operates the camera?
On Inspire 3 and Inspire 2 we work as a two-person crew: the pilot flies, the camera operator independently controls the camera and focus.
What formats do you deliver?
Inspire 3 — CinemaDNG and ProRes RAW; Inspire 2 with X7 — CinemaDNG and ProRes. We deliver the original files in whatever format suits your post-production.
How do we pay?
Bank transfer or cash. Overtime is +10% per hour beyond 10 hours; standby caused by the client or a full-day relocation is 50% of the shift.
Who arranges flight permits?
Flight permits are arranged by the client. We fix locations and flight dates in the brief.
